Our ultra-light and super-compact Kalix 2 is predestined to serve as a cosy place to sleep and protection from the elements on outdoor adventures of all kinds - especially for tours without a car.

Up to two people can sleep in this clever and small tent and with its extremely compact pack size and weight of less than 3 kg, it fits in almost any rucksack. After a long day of touring, everyone benefits from the quick and uncomplicated tent set-up - simply insert the two fibreglass poles, hook in the sleeping cabin and tighten everything up tightly at the end, done!

The robust tent material is absolutely waterproof with a water column of 3,000 mm and the sturdy Kalix defies even the most unpleasant weather conditions. The UV coating on the outer tent has the advantage that the tent does not heat up so quickly in the sun and the ventilation openings and breathable material of the cabin favour a pleasant inner tent climate. Mosquito netting on the entrance door and in front of the ventilation openings ensures that pesky crawling creatures and insects stay outside, while plenty of fresh air and daylight can get into the tent interior.

The Kalix may be small but, like our larger Skandika tents, it is perfectly equipped for a high level of comfort. Organiser pockets keep small essentials close to hand and a hook in the ceiling is perfect for hanging a camping lamp. The cable grommet provides the necessary power supply despite the firmly sewn-in floor of the sleeping cabin and the robust carry bag keeps the tent clean during transport and storage.
